News and Announcements
Thank you to all who attended the Club AGM.
The document 2016_AGM.pptx was attached to this post.
Just a reminder that this will be the last week of practices at the Kinsmen. Practices will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
It will be an exciting summer in Edmonton with Water Polo Canada hosting athletes 19 and under from UANA ‘Americas’! We could be hosting 16 teams and 9 different countries to Edmonton July 14-21st with the event being held at the Kinsman Centre and some training at NAIT.
We need you! As you can imagine this is a huge event with lots to do but more hands mean less work. There are several positions available from technical to greeters, security to ball retrievers, etc. Below is a description of the different positions with the minimum age requirements. Please fill in this questionnaire to let us know what you would like to do, when and how much you can help. You do not have to be there for the full event.
There will be a legacy component with the Canadian teams doing a fun learning camp for our Alberta athletes during the juniors. Dates will be announced closer to the event once the schedule has been published.
We hope that in your busy summer schedule you will mark this important water polo event for our young Canadian athletes to qualify for next summer FINA Youth Worlds, into your calendar of things to do!
Our volunteer coordinator is Natasja Treiberg email@example.com please contact her with any specific questions that are not answered from the survey.
