Minor Officials Needed for Weekend

Posted by Edmonton Tsunami at Dec 3, 2015 10:02AM PST ( 0 Comments )

This weekend Edmonton is hosting a U14 and U12 provincial tournament. It is important that all athletes attend to make sure that we have enough players for each game. Additionally, the games can not take place if we don’t have volunteers for minor official positions. Below is the link to the minor officials schedule. Please sign up for more than just our games as we need to make sure all games have volunteers. Since our older athletes are not practicing this weekend they should also be helping out by volunteering as minor officials.

NCL U19 Regina

The U19 men and women played some tough games in Regina this weekend. The men played valiantly with a short bench and look forward to having some of their key players back in February. The women had some close games and with a large portion of their bench being young and less experienced they will only become more competitive as the season goes on. Both teams are hoping to have the growth and success experienced by the U19 men last season.

You can check out some pictures from the weekend in the 2015-2016 albums. Unfortunately, our team photographer’s camera broke down in the middle of the boys game. We’re hoping she’ll have it fixed for future league play.
