News and Announcements
Hey Tsunami water polo players, interested in keeping up your endurance over the summer??
There are various summer swim clubs around the Edmonton and area region you can join. One of these clubs is Edmonton’s HUMA Summer Swim Club and they are specifically looking for male athletes 11 and older to round out their relays. Summer swimming allows water polo players to continue to cross train during the summer with access to dry land training and swim practices at the U of A. HUMA provides an elite coaching staff which includes a number of University of Alberta Bear/Panda Varsity swimmers that have competed at national and international levels. As a summer swim program we run from May to mid August, with practices offered every weeknight in May and June and additional morning sessions during the summer.

Coach Darko has advised the Board that for personal reasons he won’t be available to coach Tsunami next year. The head coach position and NCL travel takes a great deal of time away from his work and family. On behalf of all of the members of our Club we thank Coach Darko for all of his efforts for the Club and we wish him well in the future.
We are currently searching for a new head coach and we will be working with the Alberta Water Polo Association and Water Polo Canada to find a suitable replacement for next season.
