CODES OF CONDUCT: By Registering your Child with Edmonton Water Polo Club you and your player are agreeing to abide by the following Codes of Conduct (click on each code to download):

1) Water Polo Canada Code of Conduct
2) Club Code of Conduct for PARENTS
3) Club Code of Conduct for PLAYERS

ATOM PLAYERS / U12 (2000 & Younger): train 2 times per week and participate in city league & provincial league competitions as well as 1 or 2 out of province tournaments listed on the competition schedule. A select few Atom players may be invited by the Head Coach to train with bantams/U14 and to play at certain U14 competitions. Registration fees for Atom players are $400 + Bingos + Casino + Travel Cost.

BANTAM PLAYERS / U14 (1998 & 1999): train 3 times per week and participate in city & provincial league competitions as well as all tournaments listed on the competition schedule. NOTE: Select Bantam players may be invited by the Head Coach to train with cadets/U16 and to play up at certain competitions. Registration fees are $525 + Bingos + Casino + Travel Cost.

CADET PLAYERS / U16 (1996 & 1997): will train 4 times per week and must participate in city & provincial league competitions as well as all tournaments listed on the competition schedule including the National Club Championships in May. Registration fees are $682.50 ($650 + GST) + Bingos + Casino + Travel Cost

YOUTH PLAYERS / U18 (1994 & 1995): will train 5 times per week and participate in city & provincial league competitions as well as all tournaments listed on the competition schedule. Registration fees are $682.50 ($650 + GST) + Bingos + Casino + Travel Cost

FEE DISCOUNT FOR FAMILIES WITH MORE THAN ONE ATHLETE : A 50% discount per additional child playing in younger category will be applied to the combined total of the fees of all children registered.
For example:
1) Family with 1 Atom player and 1 bantam player: would normally pay $925 ($400 + $525) but with the family discount they would pay $725 ($925 - $200 discount)
2) Family with 1 Atom, 1 bantam, 1 cadet: would normally pay $1607.50 ($400 + $525 + ($650 + GST)) but with the family discount they would pay only $1145 [$1607.50 – (50% of $525) - (50% of $400)]

GST is charged only for players that are 14 years of age and older.

An initial travel deposit cheque (amount to be determined by Oct 15th 2011 based on a % of the total estimated cost of travel for each age group) must be provided at the beginning of the season (Details to come). After each tournament an invoice will be sent to each player’s family to top off their travel account to a minimum deposit amount. A travel account statement will be provided to each family on a regular basis by the club’s book keeper.

MASTERS (adult/18+ program): Starts Sep 28, 2011 at Kinsmen

EDMONTON WATER POLO CLUB MASTERS PLAYERS train and scrimmage once / week at Kinsmen Pool (Wednesdays 7:30pm - 9:30pm ) from Sep 2011 to the end of May 2012. Registration is $300 with a cheque payable to Edmonton Water Polo Club. Download the MASTERS' REGISTRATION FORM & WAIVER by clicking HERE.

UA MASTERS WATER POLO CLUB: For an additional fee payable to the "University of Alberta" non-student masters players may also attend an additional practices at U of A West Pool with the U of A Water Polo Club. Polo Pups Program

POLO PUPS PROGRAM: Swim lessons with a water polo component. Fall/Spring program runs from September 19, 2011 to March 31th 2012. Mondays 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 6:00-7:00pm at the Terwillegar Community Rec Centre pool,
2051 Leger Road Edmonton, AB T6R 0R9.

COST: $150.00 . Registration fee includes AWPA registration fees, coaching & pool time, T-shirt and a water polo ball. The fee discount of $50.00 will apply for families with more than one athlete..Fees are payable to Edmonton Water Polo Club.
