Tsunami is thrilled to host “Water Polo at the Lake” for the second summer! This camp is an awesome opportunity for athletes to work on individual skills and experience water polo in a truly unique setting. Grab your sleeping bag and sunscreen and join us this August as we make lasting memories at Long Lake! What better way to end your summer than an exciting four-day water polo camp at one of Alberta’s cleanest lakes.
The 2018 camp will be co-hosted by coaches Raine Paul and Mat Constantin with assistant coaches to be announced mid July. Both Raine and Mat coached at the 2017 camp and are excited to elevate the camp this summer. With more than 12 hours of water polo skill instruction, other camp activities will also be offered throughout the week. Canoeing, distance lake swims, dry-land exercises, campfires, and teamwork games are just a few of the exciting activities planned.
To improve on the camp from last summer, the dates for the camp this year have been moved to August 1-5. This is the warmest week at the camp all summer so water temperatures will be higher than last summer. Transportation, accommodation, food, and a camp t-shirt are all included with your registration.
With only 40 spots available we encourage you to register ASAP to reserve your spot. Camp requires 20 athletes to run and registration will close at noon on July, 17th.
