Q: How did you first start playing water polo?

A: I first started playing water polo through the summer outdoor pool program in Pointe-Claire when I was 12.


Q: What is it about water polo that made you fall in love with the sport?

A:I fell in love with all the different aspects of water polo: Strength, technique, finesse, and the team/family dynamic.


Q: What is your favourite water polo memory?

A: I have two favourite water polo memories. The first has to be walking into the Opening Ceremonies at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. The second is playing in the longest recorded FINA gold medal game at the 2011 Pan American Games.


Q: What made you want to be a coach?

A: I wanted to coach to give back to the community that has given me so much as a player. When I moved to Edmonton I was eager to bring my knowledge and national team systems to Tsunami.


Q: Who was your most influential coach?

A: My most influential coach has been Daniel Berthelette. He has always known and been able to get the best out of me and my teammates.


Q: Who is an athlete you admire?

A: I have always admired the girls and women I have played with. They've each brought something special to the team.
