The Edmonton Riptides offer community and provincial level programming for youth athletes ages 14 and younger. As the sister club to the Edmonton Tsunami, Riptides is a great fit for athletes looking to develop their fundamental skills and for those just starting out in the sport. With National and Provincial Team coaches on staff, Riptide athletes will see many familiar faces from the Tsunami coaching team.

At Riptides we are passionate about grassroots programming as we introduce young athletes to the sport of water polo through a fun, encouraging and dynamic environment. The Edmonton Riptides offer four programming options:

U14 Program $500 (practice 3 times per week)

U12 Program $375 (practice 2 times per week)

U10 Polo Pups $325 (practice 2 times per week)

U8 Polo Pups (FALL PROGRAM CANCELLED - COVID)

In addition to the Riptides programming we encourage all U14 athletes to join the Tsunami U14 Bridge Program to provide them with additional training and an introduction to the Tsunami NCL program.

The Edmonton Riptides are excited to have Raine Paul as our Head Coach for our inaugural season! Raine has been the Head Coach at Tsunami since 2016 and brings National, Provincial and NCAA experience to our club. Joining Raine for Riptides' inaugural season will be many familiar Tsunami coaches TBD and announced with registration.
